Josh for Longview

city council Post Campaign

Unfortunately, Josh lost in the primary. I have endorsed Oliver Black as he is the candidate that most closely matches my views.

my statement

We Can Work Together To Create a Better Future.

During this political race, you’re going to see much that doesn’t represent Longview.  Hate, vitriol and tearing people down; the things that hurt our city the most.  I believe our budget can be managed without making life unsustainable for citizens.  I believe that big change comes from policy AND attitude, not one or the other. I am very aware of the issues facing our city and am writing about them in opinion articles on this website, so you can discover exactly how I think we could shape our future better. My opinions have been galvanized by 10 years of experience marketing for over 200 local business owners and being involved in positive community discourse.

“We can start by taking small steps and making small changes that can have a big impact on the world.”

more about My approach

My views don't fit in a soundbite. So they are here, in detail for you.

I’ve been the Board President of 5 local non-profits, spent thousands of hours volunteering and have found genuine deep rooted community here, not just for a campaign, but as a way of life. I’m a community member that’s been showing up consistently for the last decade and I’m not stopping now. Scout values and determination are hard wired into everything I do. Our city needs leadership that’s more than a catchphrase.
